The School

This school is located in the Smart Eco-city of Wuhan with an area of 113,000 square metres, beside the Yangtze River. The school officially launched in 2022.

The school combines a K-12 international school for foreign passport holding students and school for mainland China ID-holding students. The campus has a total capacity of 4000 students. The school provides a Reggio Emilia-inspired Early Years programme that will prepare students for the IB PYP, MYP and DP

Requirements

• 2+ years of post-qualification experience
• Previous experience of teaching the IB curriculum is preferred, high potential candidates without IB experience might be considered
• Well-versed in various teaching resources including digital tools to support and enhance teaching and learning
• A willingness to actively participate in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes
• Ideally will have experience of working in a bilingual or multicultural context, with sensitivity to the cultural differences
• Be committed to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning and an ability to create a successful learning environment
• Show accountability for each student's progress and well-being.
• Have a commitment to reflection and improvement of personal practice.
• Be collaborative and able to work as part of a team, with a willingness to actively participate in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes
