Role and Responsibilities
- Teach Secondary Economics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (including IGCSE and IB Diploma levels).
- Foster an inquiry-based approach to learning, encouraging students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, including school clubs, events, and sports.
- Support and mentor students in their academic and personal development.
- Contribute to the school's ongoing mission of creating globally-minded, socially responsible graduates.
Requirements
- A qualified teacher with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience.
- An inquiry-based teaching approach, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability in teaching and a positive attitude toward life and work.
- Experience with open-plan learning or flexible teaching spaces is desirable.
- Previous international experience is highly desirable but not essential.
