The School

This International opened its new international campus in Autumn 2022, educating students from Grade 1-12 (UK Years 2-13). This is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built school based on its close relationship with Europe's oldest school and one of the most prestigious schools in England.

The school adopts a genuine whole-child philosophy throughout the school, focusing upon challenging young people through curriculum breadth and depth, with a high degree of active and creative learning, and a wide-ranging co-curricular programme, all supported by the highest quality of pastoral care. All teachers are expected to contribute to all aspects of a student's development.

In the Upper Prep School, they broadly follow the Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum, but have freedom to create their own programmes of study. Thereafter, in the Senior School (Grades 8-12 / UK Years 9-13) they focus on preparing for International GCSEs and International A-levels but, at the same
time, offering many wider opportunities for growth and development.

All teachers are supported by excellent state-of-the-art facilities and good resources.

Living and Working in Shenzhen

The school itself is situated in an expat area called Nanshan, and looks out across the bay to Hong Kong - which is close enough to enjoy very easily at weekends. Shenzhen itself is a wonderful planned city filled with plants and shrubbery on the coast in the warmer southern climbs of China. The excitement of Hong Kong is not too far away.
