Living and Working in Chengdu
Although one of China's less explored cities - Chengdu is a key economic hub in South West China with a population of 14 million including 14,000 ex-pats working for a variety of companies, including Intel, Toyota, Microsoft and various international schools. Requirements:
- The school require a Bachelor's degree in Education or specialised subjects, and a Primary or Secondary Teaching Certificate
- 2 years + solid teaching experience.
- For Primary applicants experience of the IPC is highly desirable, or an inquiry based approach.
- In the High school, knowledge or practice of the IB curriculum is highly desirable
- Applicants must be flexible, adaptable and passionate about teaching.
- Previous international experience is also of benefit.
