Location: Salwa, Kuwait

This is a leading private, co-educational international school in Kuwait, catering to over 4,000 students from Reception to Year 13. Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: £35,700 - £49,400 per annum (paid in KWD), depending on experience
  • Bonuses/Incentives: End-of-service gratuity payable for contracts of 2+ years.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and KS1 and KS2 lessons
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Implement the UK National Curriculum effectively, ensuring appropriate differentiation and assessment strategies.
  • Track student progress and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials and teaching strategies.

Additional Duties:

  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings.
  • Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities program.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Education, Early Childhood Studies or a related field. Relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Experience Required: Experience with the UK Curriculum is highly desirable.
  • Preferred Skills: Excellent communication and classroom management skills, adaptability, strong teamwork, and a passion for teaching in a diverse, international setting.
