School overview:
This is a very successful school and part of a group of schools in Thailand with an excellent reputation. It is situated on the Eastern seaboard located between the popular tourist destination of Pattaya and Rayong. The school has over 450 students across 30 nationalities and delivers a child centred learning environment integrating the British curriculum with the inquiry based IB curriculum (IP PYP and IB Diploma). This is the only Gold level school in this area awarded by independent inspectors.
Location overview:
The school is located on a golf complex in Rayong which is an hour and a half outside of Bangkok and 20 minutes from the tourist city of Pattaya and the beautiful Thai coastline. The campus is situated between lush, green hills and affords a great lifestyle. An amazing location for those with a love of the tropics and of the outdoors.
Requirements:
The school follows the UK Curriculum.
- Qualified with a minimum of two years teaching experience
- Matching qualifications in Teaching subject and a PGCE/ QTS/ Teaching License
- Experience of UK curriculum preferred but exceptions can be made for strong applicants
- Excellent track record of delivering excellent results
- A commitment to holistic student centred teaching model
- Previous international experience welcomed but not essential
- Solid work history
- Previous experience of students with EAL is an advantage
