The School
This school was founded in 2017 and is a K-12 international bilingual school that aims to nurture students with a balanced and holistic education, enhancing their international competitiveness. During the Chinese compulsory education stage, the follows the Chinese National Curriculum standards while referencing the Cambridge curriculum (CAIE). During the high school stage, it offers International pathways (IBDP International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, A-Level British high school curriculum, and AP American university preparatory courses), An Arts pathway, and a National Curriculum pathway. Through integrated academic, distinctive sports and arts, and innovative moral education courses, the school aims to cultivate students as globally minded citizens proficient in both Eastern and Western cultures, academically excellent, possessing leadership, innovation, and emotional intelligence skills
The school boasts outstanding sports facilities, including standard 5-a-side and 11-a-side football fields, 200-meter and 400-meter circular running tracks, two indoor basketball courts, an indoor tennis court, a 1800-square-meter ice hockey arena built to competition standards, an Olympic-standard swimming pool, and various other sports venues. The school is equipped with STEM-standard science laboratories where hands-on experimentation forms an integral part of the science curriculum. Accommodation is a modern on campus apartment and is only 20 minutes away from the city centre.
Role and Requirements
The International Head of Secondary is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the secondary school division (grades 6- 12, or equivalent). This includes academic programs, student welfare, staff
management, and fostering a multicultural, inclusive learning environment. The role aims to ensure high standards of academic excellence, innovative
teaching practices, and strong pastoral care in line with the school's mission
and values.
1. Leadership & Strategy
o Lead the strategic planning and development of the secondary school.
o Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
o Implement school-wide initiatives in collaboration with the executive leadership team.
o Promote the vision and ethos of the school, ensuring alignment with international education standards.
2. Curriculum & Teaching
o Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of the secondary school curriculum, ensuring it meets international standards (e.g., IGCSE, IB, or equivalent).
o Lead curriculum innovation and differentiation to cater to diverse student needs.
o Ensure the effective integration of technology in teaching and learning processes.
o Maintain academic rigor and assess the performance of students to ensure continuous progress.
3. Staff Management & Development
o Recruit, manage, and mentor teaching staff, providing professional development opportunities.
o Conduct performance evaluations and foster a culture of high expectations for staff.
o Promote collaborative teaching practices and interdisciplinary initiatives.
o Ensure all staff are up-to-date with the latest pedagogical and technological advancements.
4. Student Welfare & Discipline
o Ensure strong pastoral care systems are in place to support student well-being.
o Oversee the implementation of student behavior and discipline policies.
o Promote an inclusive school culture that respects cultural diversity and international perspectives.
o Ensure support for students with learning difficulties or special educational needs.
5. Parent & Community Engagement
o Work with local Head of Secondary to build strong relationships with parents and involve them in their children's educational journey.
o Work with Local Head of Secondary to communicate regularly with the parent community regarding school activities, achievements, and developments.
o Engage with the wider community to promote the school's reputation and build partnerships with local and international organizations.
6. Administrative & Operational Duties
o Oversee secondary school budgets, resource allocation, and infrastructure development.
o Ensure compliance with local educational regulations and accreditation standards.
o Develop and implement policies related to school operations, health, and safety.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to academic performance, staff development, and student outcomes.
o Participate in all kins of school marketing activiites with support and help recruit students.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
- Extensive teaching experience, preferably within an international or multicultural environment.
- Proven experience in school leadership or management, particularly in a secondary or international school setting.
- Knowledge of international curricula (such as IB, IGCSE, or A-Levels).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms.
- Strategic thinker with a clear vision for the future of secondary education.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire staff and students.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Culturally aware and sensitive to the needs of a diverse student body.

- Salary Range:700,000RMB-800,000RMB annual gross salary
- Teachers are offered spacious and fully furnished apartment - larger apartments available for those wishing to move in with
legal spouses and/or children. - Global health insurance (excluding the US) and social
security coverage. - Relocation Airfare for arrivals, departures, and return flights
during summer vacation - Relocation Reimbursement: Maximum 2,000yuan for Lump-
