Since Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong opened its doors in 2003, enrolment at Dulwich College International schools has grown to over 10,000 students hailing from more than 60 countries. The group now comprises ten schools in seven cities across Asia and three sister schools, Dehong International Chinese Schools, in Shanghai, Beijing and Xi'an.
Dulwich International High School Suzhou
Dulwich International High School in Suzhou is made up of approximately 850 students from age 14 to 19, with over six different nationalities represented in a diverse student body. The school provide students an academically rigorous, challenging and rewarding international curriculum, designed to offer the very best preparation for entry to universities worldwide. Cambridge IGCSE and A Level courses are taught across three and four year programmes. The school is on the shared campus with Dulwich College Suzhou. Through co-curricular activities, competitions and social functions, students have many opportunities to meet international students and learn about different cultures. The school site provides students with an excellent environment for learning and access to a wide range of educational resources. The new purpose-built building offers 16,959 square metres of space. Each room is equipped with smart technology, as well as central air and filtration systems. The 56 classrooms include custom designed science labs, a library, a black box theatre, music practice rooms, sport fields, a roof garden and a medical centre.

Suzhou is a charming city that is situated 80 KM west of Shanghai (22 minutes by fast train). It was recently voted as the second most "liveable" city in China for expatriates. Known as the "Venice of the Orient" it is an ancient city that is steeped in History and culture. However, it has also embraced the spirit of the new China and enjoys all the infrastructure and amenities that are required to make ones life in the 21st Century very pleasant indeed.

Requirements
- Fully qualified with a teaching qualification and a minimum of 2 years' experience
- Passionate about their subject and be able to inspire students to study their subject further
- Capable of delivering subject knowledge to the depth required at the A2 level
- Successful in showing student progress so that students are fully prepared for external examinations at IGCSE and A level stages
- Experienced (or willing to learn) in using formative assessment in order to advance student learning
- Actively engaged in furthering their own pedagogical knowledge
- Willing to collaborate with a diverse range of teachers in order to create an engaging classroom
- Able to differentiate in order to meet the needs of all students, especially within an EAL environment
- Willing to engage in the student's own culture (Chinese) in order to fully know your students
