Who They're Looking For:

• 2+ years of teaching experience (ECTs may be considered)
• A Bachelor of Education OR a first degree in a core Science curriculum subject and a post-graduate certificate in teaching
• A passion for working with young learners and a commitment to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the American Common Core Curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student development
• Utilize play-based learning strategies to encourage curiosity and creativity
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth
• Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school leadership to ensure student success

Additional Duties:

• Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions
• Support extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community
• Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being
