The School
An ambitious and aspirational school with a shared vision of educating
confident, innovative and brave children to their highest academic and creative
potential. Founded in 2002 to serve the children of the employees of the Oman
Liquefied Natural Gas Company (OLNG), the School provides education for boys and girls from the local and expatriate communities of Sur in Ash Sharqiyah, Oman. The School moved to new purpose-built premises in 2018 with excellent, modern facilities which are fully resourced throughout, and currently has an enrolment of 930 students. A fully accredited member of the Council of International Schools (CIS).

The Position
Ideally, the successful applicant will be a successful teacher with experience at either middle or senior leadership in an international/private school. It is essential to have a good sense of humour, to be flexible, be a hard worker, and to be a committed team player.

It is an advantage to have had experience working in both primary and secondary settings. This position requires the successful applicant to have a current IELTS score of 6.5 or higher.

School Requirements

  • Master's degree in quality or educational management
    Bachelor's degree in quality or educational management
    Experience of UK curriculum desirable but strong adaptable teachers who do not have this will be considered
    Previous EAL experience advantageous
    Able to deliver active and engaging lessons
    Display an energetic, positive attitude which will create a warm and engaging atmosphere to advance students' physical, mental, and social development.
