This International School in Thailand is a safe, happy and successful place to learn and to teach. The school offers a British curriculum to both day and boarding students aged 3-18. It is a small school, with just over 200 students on roll, yet they offer a wide range of IGCSE and A-Level subjects. Class sizes are small and relationships between students and teachers are outstanding. The school was founded in 2016 and boasts impressive buildings and modern facilities. In 2021, they received full accreditation from CIS, one of only 20 schools in Thailand to achieve this accolade. Location

Hatyai is located in southern Thailand, only 40 minutes' drive from the nearest beach in Songkhla Town and within easy reach of Krabi, Phuket, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Koh Samui and Koh Lipe, as well as Penang and Langkawi across the border in Malaysia. The international airport offers 16 flights per day to Bangkok and daily flights to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, both of which are only a short distance away, opening up the rest of Asia. It is easy to spend your weekends or holidays exploring this beautiful part of the world.

Hatyai itself is an up and coming city without the high cost of living found in other more well known destinations in Thailand. There are large western style malls and supermarkets, and many bars and restaurants providing a range of international food, yet Hatyai retains a very 'Thai' feel and the population are very friendly and helpful, welcoming people with the famous 'Thai Smile'.

The Position

The Science department has gained a reputation for excellence within the local community, and we wish the new teachers to develop that good practice still further. There is a well established and clear curriculum, based upon the English National Curriculum. Biology or Chemistry Teacher required for an immediate start. Pupils bring their own device to school and they fully embed Technology for Learning into most lessons when it enhances the learning.

Teaching candidates are expected to have a degree and be qualified school teachers. All teachers play a full part in the school community, working with pupils in co-curricular activities. We look for people who are caring, enthusiastic and committed professionals.
As a small school, staff need to be an integral part of the team. There is one class in each year but staff work collaboratively to develop the provision.
The successful candidate will:
