The School

Part of a major international educational group, this impressive school offers a premium education to more than 2000 students from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 12. The large striking campus offers spacious classrooms, indoor gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, dance and drama studios, music suites, shaded playing courts and grassed sporting fields. Students follow the English National Curriculum from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to Year 11. Students in Years 12 and 13 follow the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or the newly introduced BTEC Business Programme.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Deliver a high-quality, tailored Art classes to the UK and IB curriculum incorporating innovative teaching methods that foster intellectual curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Plan and execute creative, inclusive lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, effectively addressing the diverse needs of all learners through differentiated instruction.
  • Establish a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, collaboration, and a genuine passion for learning.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community to ensure each learner's holistic development and academic success.

Additional Duties:

  • Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
  • Contribute to curriculum development initiatives and share best practices with colleagues.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Art or a related teaching subject.
  • PGCE, QTS or appropriate Teaching License

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a classroom setting

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven ability to design and implement engaging lessons.
  • Expertise in adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Demonstrated success in creating an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Strong understanding of literacy and mathematical skill development within a Secondary setting.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Dedication to community engagement and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
