Teaching in China and Hong Kong


Teachanywhere is thrilled to once again be working in partnership with the highly regarded Yew Chung and Yew Wah International Schools group. With campuses across China (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Qingdao and Yantai) and Hong Kong founded in 1932, the group strive to unite the best elements of Eastern and Western traditions and practices, focused on the growth of the individual and the inquiring mind.

With excellent facilities across all campuses, these schools employ a bilingual philosophy, exemplified by engaging a co teaching approach in the KG and Primary schools with a Chinese and western teacher team teaching. Students come from over 45 nationalities in the Yew Chung schools and the Yew Wah sister schools cater for an exclusively Chinese cohort with a shared philosophy that creates truly global minded graduates.

Teachanywhere will be hosting exclusive invitation only virtual interview days throughout the year. Priority is given to those able to attend the virtual interview days however additional Skype interviews will be available outside of these events for those teachers unable to attend.

  • What does the package offer?

  • What are the qualifications required?

    Teachers should have more than 2 years post qualifying experience and should have a Bachelor or Education or Bachelor’s degree and PGCE or equivalent. TEFL certification is not accepted without B.Ed. or PGCE. You should have an inquiry based approach to your teaching and an ability to work well within a variety of cultures. You need to be adaptable and flexible and have a positive approach to life!
