The School
Established in 1964, this international school in Brunei has nearly 60 years of experience as a non-profit, vibrant, inclusive school. The school is non-selective, and currently has over 1200 day and boarding students from over 42 different nationalities and highly qualified teachers from all over the globe.
The school offers education from Nursery (2yrs) and the National Curriculum of England from Year 1 (4yrs old) to Year 9 (13yrs) followed by IGCSEs (14-16yrs)and the IB Diploma programme in the Pre-University section (16 - 18yrs). Academic results are outstanding with IB Diploma results consistently above the world average. ISB students attend their first choice universities all over the world
In 2015, ISB moved to a bespoke, eco-friendly campus, nestled in primary rainforest, becoming one of the first schools in Asia to win the Green Flag Award. Academic results are excellent, allowing graduates to gain entry to top universities all over the world.

Role and Requirements
For the right candidate, there are also opportunities for additional responsibility e.g Head of Year, ToK coordination etc
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- UK QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching 16-18yr olds (IB, A level or other equivalent)
- This is an inclusive school, therefore candidates will need to have a wide range of pedagogical approaches to teaching and be able to deliver innovative and engaging lessons which engage all students.

Applicants must be 54 years of age or younger due to Brunei's visa restrictions.
Salary and Benefits Package
- Monthly tax free salary for teachers of around $2985 BND dependent upon experience (in a low cost of living location affording a good opportunity to save)
- Flights at beginning and end of contract for you and any dependents.
